Cris Ivan, TPM Application Engineer
Hi everyone, welcome to today's Three Minute Thursday. We are excited to share Part 2 of a three part series on NetFabb. Part 1 started with a SOLIDWORKS design, bringing it into NetFabb and preparing it for 3D printing.
Today, we are starting where we left off last time, we will create plugs for draining the excess powder and then add logos to the part. The plug holes can be made using the Boolean feature.
A logo can be added through Image Labeling. We can adjust the contrast ratio to the part and elect to add to the part or subtract from it, thus making an emboss or deboss.
Next time, we will look at fixing basic mesh issues and 3D print the object.
